The Sheridan Sanitation District No. 2 is tasked with providing sanitary sewer collection services to residents with the Sheridan Sanitation District's boundary located within Arapahoe and Denver counties. Wastewater collected is conveyed through a network of underground sewer lines and discharged into the Metro Wastewater collection system through a meter station system. The District contracts with Metro Wastewater Reclamation District for wastewater treatment.
